CHEESE PENNIES 2 sticks butter, melted 2 cups all-purpose flour 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 package dry onion soup mix In bowl, Knead together all ingredients. Divide into two equal portions. Shape each portion into log shape. Wrap with waxed paper. Chill for 1 hour, or until firm. Preheat oven to 350. Cut log shapes into slices 1/4 inch thick. Place onto baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.
