Cheese Squares 1 (8 ounce) package cheddar cheese 2 eggs 1/4 cup milk 1 cup bread crumbs 2 cups vegetable oil Cut cheese lengthwise in half (to make thinner pieces) and then into squares or triangles. In bowl, combine eggs and milk. Dip cheese pieces into mixture. Coat moistened cheese with bread crumbs. Chill for 30 minutes, or freeze for 10 minutes. In shallow pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Make sure oil is only halfway up the cheese squares. Fry until lightly browned. Turn only once. Drain on paper towels.
