Crusty Crescent Taco Squares 1 pound ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix 1 (16 ounce) can re fried beans 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce 2 (8 ounce) cans Refrigerated Crescent Rolls 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1/3 cup cornmeal 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese 2 cups shredded lettuce 1 cup chopped tomato Taco sauce Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In skillet, brown beef, drain. Stir in onions, taco seasoning mix, beans and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. Unroll crescent roll dough into 4 long rectangles. Place into ungreased 10x15 inch baking pan. Press over bottom and 1 inch up sides to form crust. Brush dough with oil. Sprinkle with cornmeal. Spoon hot meat mixture over crust. Bake for 25to 30 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 1 to 2 minutes, until cheese is melted. Cut into squares. Top with lettuce, tomatoes and taco sauce, as desired.
