Sausage Roll 4 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 cup cornmeal 1/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2/3 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup milk 2 pounds ground sausage Preheat oven to 350. In bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in oil. Add milk, blend. Add a couple extra tablespoons milk if necessary to form stiff dough. Roll into rectangle on lightly floured surface. Spread with sausage. Roll jelly-roll fashion lengthwise. Wrap in waxed paper. Chill. Slice. Place onto baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
