German Chocolate Cheesecake 1 (16 ounce) box german chocolate cake mix 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 4 eggs 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 (16 ounce) can German chocolate frosting Preheat oven to 275. In bowl, prepare cake batter as directed on package. Pour half of batter into pan, spread evenly. Bake for 7 to 15 minutes, until batter is set a bit. In another bowl, combine cream cheese, eggs and sugar. Beat with mixer until smooth and creamy. Spoon over cooled cake. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool. Frost.
