Black Forest Cherry Cookies 1 (17.5 ounce) box sugar cookie mix 1 stick butter, melted 1 egg 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, quartered Preheat oven to 375. In bowl, combine cookie mix, butter and egg, mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and cherries. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on pans for 1 minute. Transfer to wire rack. Cool completely. Spread with chocolate frosting if desired.
