Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies 1.5 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 0.5 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 sticks butter, softened 0.5 cup sugar 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup raisins 3 cups quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats Preheat oven to 350. In bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon, set aside. In another bowl, combine butter, sugar and brown sugar. Beat with mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add to flour mixture, mix well. Stir in oats and raisins, mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool on pans for 1 minute. Remove to wire rack. Makes 4 dozen.
