Slow Cooker Chicken And Dumplings 1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces 2 medium potatoes, cut into 1 inch pieces 2 cups baby whole carrots 2 stalks celery, sliced 2 (10.75 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup 1 cup water 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1/4 teaspoon pepper 2 cups biscuit baking mix 2/3 cup milk PLACE chicken, potatoes, carrots and celery into 6 quart slow cooker. In bowl, combine soup, water, thyme and pepper. Pour into crockpot. Cover. Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours, or on low for 7 to 8 hours. In another bowl, combine baking mix and milk. Spoon batter over chicken mixture. Tilt lid to vent. Cook on high for 30 minutes, or until dumplings are cooked in center. Makes 8 servings.
