Black Bottom Cupcakes 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese 1/3 cup sugar 1 egg 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 (18.25 ounce) box chocolate cake mix Prepare cake batter as directed on package. Fill paper liners in muffin pans two-thirds full. In bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar. Beat with mixer until smooth. Beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop 1 rounded teaspoon of cheese mixture into each cupcake. Bake as directed on package.
