Choco Apple Cupcakes 1 (18.25 ounce) box devil's food cake mix 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup water 3 eggs 2 cups grated, unpeeled Michigan apples 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips 24 milk chocolate kisses Preheat oven to 350. Prepare cake batter as directed on package, using cake mix, oil, water, eggs and apples. Stir in chocolate chips. Divide batter between 24 paper-lined muffin cups. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from pans. Cool on wire rack. While cupcakes are hot, place 1 candy kiss on top of each cupcake. Candy may be spread as frosting when melted and decorated with multicolored sprinkles, if desired. Cool completely.
