Baked Apple Dumplings 1 stick butter 5 apples, sliced 1 (10 count) can refrigerated biscuits 2 cups sugar 2 cups water 4 sticks margarine 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 1/8 teaspoon salt Preheat oven to 375. Roll out biscuits to size of saucers. Place half of each apple into biscuit. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Pull biscuit, pinch together. Repeat for each biscuit. In saucepan, combine water, margarine, salt and vanilla. Bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour over dumplings. Bake for 40 minutes.
