Pecan Pie 1 cup pecan halves 3 eggs, beaten 1/4 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup sugar 1 cup light corn syrup 1 stick butter, melted 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell Preheat oven to 400. In bowl, whisk together eggs and salt. Gradually add sugar to egg mixture, whisk until well blended. Add corn syrup, butter and vanilla, mix well. Sprinkle pecan halves into pie shell. Pour mixture over nuts. Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 325. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Cool before serving.
