A flavorful coating for baked chicken. @@@@@ Golden Cashew Chicken 1 frying chicken, cut up 3/4 cup finely chopped cashews 1-1/2 cup Corn Flakes or Bran Flakes 1 Egg 2 TBS milk 1/2 cup pancake mix** 4 TBS butter or margarine 2 tsp. Parsley flakes 1 tsp. celery seed 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. salt dash of pepper Steam chicken for 39 minutes. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Mix together cashews, cereal, parsley flakes, celery seed, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Beat egg in bowl and add milk to thin. Coat chicken pieces with pancake mix; dip into egg mixture; dip into nut mixture. In shallow baking disk with a lid, melt the butter. Arrange the batter-coated chicken in a single layer.
