Southern Pecan pie Southern Pecan Pie 1 cup of sugar1 cup of corn syrup (light or dark) 1 stick of butter 3 eggs 1 cup of pecans Put sugar into bowl. Add one egg at a time to sugar, beating until well mixed. Stir in syrup melted butter, and pecans. When well blended, pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees 40-45 minutes. Yields 8 servings.
