Ingredients:   3 lbs. chuck roast shreded (cut in chunks) 6 cups water 4 red chile pods or 3 Tbsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. Oregano 1 small onion 1 clove garlic, minced 6 cups canned hominy Directions: Boil meat in 6 cups of water until tender-about 3 hours. Add hominy and seasoning (oregano, onion, minced garlic and chili pods0 to boiled meat broth. Salt to taste. Simmer hominy and meat together for an additional 1/2 hour. Number Of Servings: 12
